Nestled among the hills of the Willamette valley is a place called The Silicon Shire, a place I call home. Known to the norms as Eugene Oregon it is a relatively small city with a population of 177 thousand. Combined with our neighbor city Springfield Oregon we number around 240 thousand. I cannot believe that among all the Citizens of The Shire I am the only Citizen of the Stars.
