Black Widow Company is recruiting. We are a multi-game syndicate which has been in continuous existence since 2003. We are a military-style (not milsim) community founded by veterans, originally for the Planetside MMO and we decided to just keep the momentum going for other games. We have played competitively in numerous other games not just limited to video games, making a name/reputation for ourselves with our playstyle which focuses on teamwork and communication. We are an international community, though the memberbase is most heavily NA, UK, and EU. In Star Citizen we do not have a defined role or desired playstyle beyond what we traditionally do--we will most probably fit ourselves into the role of a PMC loosely aligned with the UEE but since we just care about having a good time and providing a quality experience for members, we're not ruling out dastardly deeds or being friends with "villainous" types. Within the memberbase we do have a wide range of play-hook interests, ranging from economy/industry all the way to capital ship combat. We have several hundred players who plan to play Star Citizen, right now we are averaging around twenty during our big operations/events, and during non-Op times we generally see around 5-6 at any point in time. Our SC community is most active on Discord. As we are a division within a larger entity, we do have a forum/website and we do have a Teamspeak server as well for the other games that are not on Discord. You can expect a highly organized unit that provides training, teamwork, and a professional gaming attitude. Roughly half of our members are active-duty military, prior service, retired, and/or combat veterans. Note, a military background is NOT required. We are competitive, but we are not serious to the point of raging about it. Because we are competitive and organized, we do have minimum expectations for recruitment. 1.) All SC members will need to be active on Discord, that is our primary method of communication. 2.) Prospective recruits will need to post a recruitment app on the BWC forums. 3.) Teamspeak is a necessity as far as getting through your initial recruitment period. 4.) We do have a code of conduct, or charter, called the SOP -- all of our members are held to this standard, which centres around Wheaton's Law: don't be a dick.
