Hello, I'm Hemp, from the [Bounty Hunter's Guild](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/BHGN) and I'm here to try to explain what we do; because it's a little bit different' from what you'd expect from a traditional org. First things first: Joining does not mean you're automatically allied with everyone in the guild. I say this because people usually get hung up on this being an org, but don't think about it that way. It's a network. Every single member of the guild is a free agent with their own goals and agendas. Everyone in the guild is encouraged to join another org to have as their main org be it formed with other unaffiliated members or joining one of the orgs already integrated or just some random org you found on the site. Doesn't matter to us. If there's an org in the guild that you don't like, all you gotta do is play nice. You don't have to help them, you don't have to talk to them. If they step out of line, they'll get taken care of. Well what do you do then? Excellent question! We aim to establish Hubs called "Nexuses" for hunters in systems where the in-game BHG aren't present as well as sort out any problems between hunter groups or individuals that naturally arise. We also plan to organize rp events and such for large scale roleplay. Some members or groups of the guild may go rogue by breaking the tenets of the guild repeatedly. The rules are made to be broken? That's not exactly correct but we do hope that there will be some that break the tenets to add some spice to the rp. Tenets of the guild are really just there for roleplay purposes. The rules section of the page is where you'll find the real rules. There aren't that many so it shouldn't be too hard to follow them. The biggest thing is to just not cause problems with your fellow hunters. How do I sign up?! First you fill out this short form so we know if you're a good fit and how to set your rank, what org would be a good fit for you, etc. After you've done that just send an application on site and we'll accept you after we've assessed you and decided you're legit. Who can apply? Right now we're taking in anyone who plans on hunting even if it isn't your main activity. This is because a lot of our members rp and will have characters that do freelance work and just do hunts in the meantime or people that play more of a spy/assassin role but still collect on bounties. We're trying to be as inclusive as possible without losing the desired atmosphere in the process. I run a hunter org already. Why would I want to join? Because joining ensures you representation in the guild, which would be useful if an unfortunate circumstance landed one of your hunters under suspicion of foul play with another hunter. You would also need a guild member to escort you and vouch for you to land at a Nexus and not be seen as an intruder. Security is important in this line of work, after all. We don't tax your members and we don't charge you either. We're just here to have fun and lessen hunter-v-hunter conflict. I have more questions though.
