Citizen's Coffee Company is proud to offer a number of benefits and career possibilities for aspiring UEE entrepreneurs. The CCC is a networking organization, centered around the idea of being an actual coffee shop and bar located at most major ports around the universe that has become a favored meeting spot for business associates. Alliance organizations and networking groups are no stranger in the SC community. We believe that the leadership of any serious organization should be involved with as many of these groups as possible, as it provides an endless potential for player driven experiences. The Citizen's Coffee Company does not claim to be better than any organization of its type, we are just different and appeal to some more than others. CCC aims to remain non profit for its existence, and has no chain of command, no council, and no way of any other affiliate or organization attempting to influence how your own group functions. We want representatives from larger groups and small teams of friends to be able to meet on even ground and just talk business and set up contracts for mutual benefit, without the hassle of someone assuming you should just join their organization. We encourage you to join as many networks as you can, as each one will provide a different experience. Below is a summary of the CCC and why it could potentially be a great company for you to affiliate with, regardless if you own a 10,000 member organization, run a division of a large corporation, Captain the crew of a vessel, or just travel the verse solo looking for work. Careers: As a company, CCC will always be non profit in terms of never taking a cut of any contract formed under its roof. However, we do employ a number of individuals who wish to remain away from typical organizations yet understand the importance of a solid network around them. Explorer: Citizen's Coffee Company will sponsor a small number of explorers at any given time. These employees are individuals who wish to start out in the field of exploration, but will need an existing network to sell valuable data to. There is no value to the discovery of a derelict Vanduul Kingship without someone willing to buy the known location of it for salvage. A previously undiscovered asteroid belt rich in minerals serves no purpose to the lone explorer, but to the 12 man mining organization its a gold mine worth plenty of UEC. ALL profit received remains yours, you are just expected to payback whatever CCC fronted for your expedition. Data Runners: A handful of data runners are wanted for the use of our affiliated members. You are allowed to set your fees per mission. You are given access to a wide variety of clients free of charge, but you are expected to run data for the business of CCC for no charge in return. Security Firm: Upon its expansion to the stars, the Citizen's Coffee Company needed to protect its employees at all cost. A private security firm was hired, mostly UEE military veterans not ready to quit the lifestyle. Once the business began its rapid growth, management decided it was important to recognize its affiliates by providing a number of security contracts. The security firm originally hired by the CCC was ultimately bought out, providing its members a healthy retirement. However, a smaller professional team remained on board to handle in house issues and private security. There are openings for guards and pilots alike, but we will ensure it remains a small team. Benefits of Affiliation: You join a growing network that is dedicated to providing a constant source of player driven missions and the potential to make good friends in the universe. For larger organizations: You can free up valuable manpower by outsourcing jobs that aren't critical to your foundation to smaller organizations that may specialize in a certain task. A massive mining corporation may wish to focus its manpower in its mining fleet, and outsource the hauling to a number of small orgs with their own transport ships. For smaller organizations: Not everyone wants to be part of the bigger corporations! We want to see everyone getting a chance to make a difference in the verse and absolutely will not take any of your profit. Post up your organizations abilities and wait for contact, or be aggressive and reach out for every contract you see on our bulletin boards. For individuals: Freelancer? Bounty Hunter? Smuggler? As long as you aren't a wanted criminal, CCC welcomes you in our doors. Plenty of organizations need a friend willing to work in the grey areas of the game. There will always be plenty of work for the solo player with a ship willing to travel. For everyone: By affiliating, you gain access to to our private security firm. Should you enter into a contract with another affiliated member, only to be crossed and harmed, we will take care of you. CCC will front the cost of retaliation, as well as immediately post multiple bounty contracts on the member who violated your organizations trust. Upon the disposal of the criminal, our affiliated members are welcomed to all the salvage their holds can carry. On a regularly planned schedule, we will organize a large scale freight shipping mission off of the company's last remaining owned vessel, a Hull E. All affiliated members of the CCC are welcomed to volunteer as crew members and will be placed in their preferred role. The escort will be awarded based on a lottery, with organizations allowed to enter each mission. These missions are intended as a sort of vacation for officers and reps from various organizations.
