If you're reading this, you've either been out here long enough to understand what it takes, or you're looking for a crew that actually does things instead of talking about doing things in a Discord that peaked six months ago. Who We Are Freehold Stellar Works is an independent military-industrial outfit. We run freelance fleet operations, logistics, resource acquisition, and direct action in contested space. We have capital assets — Idris, Polaris, Perseus, soon to be a Javelin — and the crew to operate them properly. We're not a hangar showcase. These ships fly, and they fly with people in every seat. We started as a group of experienced operators who got tired of contributing everything to an organization that contributed nothing back. So we built our own. The history is on our org page if you want the details — the short version is that Freehold exists because we don't let other people's egos get between us and the mission. What We Do Everything that pays and most things that don't but are funny. Blockades, interdictions, escort contracts, mining operations, capital ship engagements, and the kind of jobs that don't show up on legitimate contract boards. We don't lock people into roles. If you want to fly combat today and haul cargo tomorrow, that's the point. If you want to crew a capital ship on a weekend op and then spend Tuesday night doing solo bounties, nobody's going to send you a performance review. The long-term goal is full-spectrum ship and base construction when the game supports it. Until then, we fly what we have and fight to gain. What We're Looking For We don't care about your killboard. We don't care about your hangar value. We care about three things: You show up when you say you will. Life takes precedence - just let us know. You communicate like a functioning adult. Banter is inevitable. You don't make the org worse by being in it. That's it. New players are welcome if you're willing to learn or need a mentor to show you the ropes. We're experienced in teaching. Veterans are welcome if you're willing to not be insufferable about it. We'd rather have ten reliable people than fifty names on a roster that never log in.
