Starting up an official police organization. I've seen a lot of organizations that are more PMC/Security related that are for hire services by other organizations to protect assets. My theory in creating this group is to offer people a position on the department that focuses not just on protecting people and assets but to also provide JUSTICE and ORDER to everyone in as many galaxies as possible in the game. Our mission and goal at the GPD is to not only protect the community but also serve the community. The ultimate goal is to provide the largest and most professional law enforcement agency in Star Citizen. The GPD is ideal for players that have the following play styles: Love helping and growing the community, ecspacially new members to Star Citizen Want to not just play, but also help grow and make a better community Love to protect and defend others in a just/orderly manor No affiliations with criminal organizations Have a passion for law enforcement Love to roleplay Possible positions/roles within the department would include: Officers (various ranks) Different specialties (SWAT, Detective, VICE, etc.) Dispatchers Engineers Technicians Other non-sworn staff positions Many other positions/roles taken from real world law enforcement agencies, both on ground and in space I'm sure much of this is subject to change since the organization is new and Star Citizen is still in development, so I will try to keep this post up-to-date often.
