I've always planned to expand the Org my friend and I want to start in-universe. But maybe it makes sense to join an already more-established Org. Two problems with that: 1. Despite the fact that my friend and I have a number of ships, we don't have the time or patience to start flying until closer to the end of the year. 2. We're an eclectic pair. Still, it'd be fun to find like-minded folks before the 'verse starts cookin'. Our plan is to provide "pit stop" services to those in need, while taking the occasional bounty on the side. Between us, we have a Crucible, Starfarer, Vulcan, Hawk, Blue, and a smattering of other ships. Since we can't fly them all ourselves, most would go to the service of our Org or whatever Org we're in. We plan to RP. I don't feel like you need to be deeply immersed in lore to RP. You just sort of go about your day. In real life, people generally don't start talking about the Louisiana Purchase with you while you're jumping their car, for example. Or tell you how their parents were killed by Banu when you pickj them up in your Lyft. One of the best RP experiences we've had was in Start Wars: Galaxies. I'd spend hours just messing around in cantinas trying to entertain other people and make them laugh. That's my primary RP goal for the 'Verse as well. I want people to come away from repairs or robbing me or whatever thinking, "That was pretty cool". I definitely appreciate (though do not expect) when other people play along. Everyone needs repair and refuel, and that's the day job. Hunting bounties is a bonus. There's definitely a lot of crossover between the mechanics and needs of Bounty Hunters and pirates, so we might be swayed to the Dark Side. Forum stats suggest that there are many times more people interested in Bounty Hunting than piracy, and sonce I'm a contrarian I can see myself ending up on the run from the law. We'll see.
