Greetings fellow Citizens of the 'Verse! Who are we? ICI Gamers is an international [EU based] gaming community that was founded back in 2012. We were founded by a group of three friends that have known each other since the high school days (which, for us, was around the year 2003-2006). Originally we decided to create ICI Gamers just for fun and setup a VoIP server just to be able to game with one another. Over the past 10 years, however, we have started growing slowly but surely into somewhat more of an international community with members from different countries. Most of our members are EU based (UK, Germany, Netherlands, etc.) but we have some members in Australia as well as the United States. We seek to grow to roughly around 50 (active) Star Citizen members in order to create a firm international organization but not be too big. We believe that growing beyond a certain point might work in a negative way with regards to bonding and knowing your colleagues. After all we feel that this is essential granted that these colleagues will be watching your back! Having said the above it's important for all (potential) members to know that we're a multi-gaming community in roots and we will definitely continue to be just that until the full release of Star Citizen (with 1.0 "hopefully" dropping before 2029). We have a decent size Discord with two dozen active (daily) voice members and 60+ active chat members. Curious or just want to know more? Send me a DM or join our Discord directly. https://discord.gg/paYWQV9NmT What's our mission? Our main mission will be focused on, but not limited to: - Trade running - Security - Bounty Hunting Again these won't be our only goals but this will be the core focus of the organization. I know I speak for a majority of the current member base when I say that we want to try and keep diversity up and it is, of course, important that every member enjoys themselves while playing the game. (Disclaimer: If someone wants to be a pirate or commit piracy acts that's fine. We don't encourage it but we will just look the other way). :slightly_smiling_face: What are our requirements? We don't really have any "hard" requirements as such. We are all grown individuals that have (somewhat of) a social life outside of the gaming world and we fully understand that this has priority over gaming. What we would like to see is for people to use the Discord server as much as possible when they are online. Even if one might be a bit on the shy side or they aren't as talkative as others we encourage the use of Discord in order to create a more immersive experience with your fellow gaming colleagues. Apart from that we simply ask the following: - Have a (dark-ish) sense of humor - Be over the age of 21 - Be able to speak basic English (as this is our primary language to communicate in) What can we offer you? If you decide you want to be part of our international community we welcome you! Once you are a part of our community you'll: - Be able to access our Discord server freely - https://discord.gg/paYWQV9NmT - Play with friendly people from across the globe (mainly in Europe but we encourage memberships from around the world with several active US members) - A diverse amount of Multi-crew ships to operate with fellow ICI members - Incredibly harsh yet hilarious banter! Check out our Fleet at: https://fleetyards.net/fleets/069420/ships/ - - - Apart from the information above feel free to post any questions/comments you may have regarding our organization.
