PROJECT DEPRECATED As per the changes 4 years ago on the libraries and frontend of RSI Website that Turbulent make, this project wasn't longer avaible. If anyone has interest, the code is archived in: - https://github.com/danidomen/starcitizen_easyorg And also the first and old gists - https://gist.github.com/danidomen/5bff32b1ce601340f45296d419430bde - https://gist.github.com/danidomen/5c1d526e7bebc3844e6030cce337591b ------------------------------------------ Hi to all. Tired to find what people are new on my org, I decided try to identify what people aren't in my contact list. Due the lack also on the org members page a button to identify what people are you following, the task to add the people are very tedious (on large orgs). So I write an extension to make life easier (NO LONGER AVAILABLE): https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/star-citizen-easy-org/ldfkimddlogdgpakgekiepjekhheaifo Also, you can see a video of the extension on action here: https://www.loom.com/share/a81a7010acb9431bbc371d1dd4c992fa And all the code is available on github :slightly_smiling_face: : https://github.com/danidomen/starcitizen_easyorg This refer to and old 0.1 version :stuck_out_tongue: So, with this little piece of JavaScript code you can identify or automatically add the people on your org that you are missing to follow. Steps: - Go to your org Members page. Only works on this page, if you try to execute on another page will not work (yes, I can make another type of search, but the code was 5 minute of writing) - Open your browser "Elements Inspector". On Chrome you can do it over the web & BDR, selecting "Inspect" or CRTL+Shift+I - Paste the code of the following gist at the "Console" tab: https://gist.github.com/danidomen/5bff32b1ce601340f45296d419430bde - If you make scroll after code executing, this will load more people at your org. You can execute again the code, but I recommend execute it when you have all members loaded. Also, I write another little piece of code to remove contacts that aren't part of my org (with confirmation that I want to delete it) - You can execute this on maybe every page of RSI, is not needed to stay on your org Members page like before, but I recommend it execute on homepage. - Open your browser "Elements Inspector". On Chrome you can do it over the web & BDR, selecting "Inspect" or CRTL+Shift+I - Paste the code of the following gist at the "Console" tab https://gist.github.com/danidomen/5c1d526e7bebc3844e6030cce337591b - The only consideration is that on the first line of the code change the name of the org for your own org. This must be exactly the same that what you see on the URL of your Org. Example: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/IKARUS - Then, the value is IKARUS Also, I recorded a video explaining how to do that. Is on Spanish, but you can mute it and following the "movements": https://www.useloom.com/share/f9a5ae78143b4376b690324b12105abd I hope that this could help to someone :slightly_smiling_face: Cheers! To CIG: I know that this maybe execute a lot of calls against the API, but the lack of this type of things (on the members page a button over each member to add or to know at least that you are following him, on the contact list identify the org of each one...) are the reason to me to find a solution.
