Who are we? [RIP] Rusty In Places is a multi-national online gaming community with over 300 members from 47 different countries formed in 2006 by a small group of like-minded gamers. The original vision was for a place where mature friends could come together and team up while playing their favourite games and engage in some banter and enjoy a few drinks. While the games may have changed, this ethos still exists today and the banter and social aspects of our community is still the primary focus with the games being the gel that binds us together. As a clan, [RIP] play multiple games many of which are hosted on our own private dedicated servers. Our primary games at present include Squad, ArmA and the Battlefield series but other games include the legendary Project Reality, the soon to be legendary Star Citizen and many others. [RIP] uses TeamSpeak 3 as our primary voice chat with this website and Steam being our text based communications. We do have a strict over 21’s policy as chat can get a little ‘colourful’ especially once the drinks have been flowing on weekends. We do not claim to be professional gamers and never take things too serious, after all most of us are a little ‘rusty in places’ and getting a little slow in our mature age. However, we are always open to new members and welcome players from all over this world as long as you can speak English. Within [RIP] we have 2 Different Organisations: Warphogs / Roughnecks , every organisation has its own identity & vision. Organisations Warphogs is an organisation who want to do good for the 'verse, they focus on trading, mining, bounty hunting and escorting high value cargo. They are the real good guys. Roughnecks is the organisation who is in between the good and the bad guys, they focus on smuggling, trading but also mining. They're not aggressive but aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. An ordinary day in the ‘verse What do we do in Star Citizen you might ask? Well if we’re not trying kill each other, you can find us in the universe doing missions or hunting down other players. We occasionally hop into Arena Commander to dogfight, honing our skills. Star Marine is also on the agenda and is good to blow off some steam. [RIP] also offers training courses for members to join to set the foundations for the organisations.
