Hi all, Hell, I haven't been on the forums since before the switch to Spectrum O_O This feels weird! IRL, I am 35 years old and live in Greece. I work in an e-learning company that designs and creates courses mostly for maritime, banking and insurance companies. I am in the maritime course department of my company, and as such I've developed an interest in merchant ships and their workings. As a result, I've been considering more and more the possibility of multiplayer in SC as a crew member onboard a big industrial ship. Could be a Starfarer, could be a Hull, could be anything! I'd also be very keen on multicrew exploration. This is a first for me, as I'm quite an introvert and typically prefer to keep to myself in games. Also, I don't have much free time, as I'm juggling between work, other hobbies, friends and a significant other who is not big on gaming. I'm guessing a lot of you here can relate! :grinning: I'm not so much looking to join a specific org right now, as much as getting an idea of if there is an org I could join that has its share of casual loners and wouldn't be dragged down by my casual loner ways. I don't want other players to "suffer" for my own unreliability as a gamer, as I often take long breaks from games as well (evident since the last time I logged on was BS - Before Spectrum :stuck_out_tongue: ). So in short, I'm asking to see if there is an org out there that: - Is based on industry, cargo transport or exploration. - Is not PvP oriented, or at least has a "branch" that is not about PvP. - Is keen on the idea of crewing large ships. - Is casual-friendly enough to accept a shy gamer with limited time. I wouldn't mind just being an "Ordinary Spaceman" rather than a "Chief Engineer"! - Is active in EU "game time", and has a tolerant, multicultural community. - Tends to have a slightly older player base, who can understand the constraints of real life and can be accepting of less active or erratic (in terms of play frequency) gamers. Again, I do NOT want to be a weight on anyone, nor do I want leech off an org and reap benefits by doing minimal work. I'm just looking to see if there is a "chill" community out there where I could hang out at my leisure and experience the aspects of the game that intrigue me as much as I can (at least, when multicrew and non-combat gameplay is more fleshed out).
