Imagine someone from a large org finding a huge field of the rarest mineral in Vanduul, Kr'Thak, or just one of the more dangerous general lawless systems in the game? A convoy of Orion's, with some Hull D's and even a Hull E need protection. There is a 99% chance of getting attacked by enemy patrols and a 50% chance of getting attacked by enemy warships and a 10% chance of getting attacked by a fleet of capital ships of Vanduul or some other ilk. It sound exciting? It sounds like pretty much end game content for security ops and Industrial guilds working together to make bank. But it can also lead to catastrophe where everyone dies affecting their rep and even with LTI ships you can say goodbye to the hundreds of thousands to millions of credits of advanced weaponry and improvements on both security and industrial ships. I want to hear what the merc to be players would want in return from the industrial players to go with them into the bowels of hell and come back alive? What percentage would you want? Would you want the industrial players to ensure your ships? At least insuring the extra money spent on modifications or would that be to much to ask? Hammerhead and Polaris captains would you bring your ship into Vanduul space knowing your crew is going to face other Corvettes etc? Would you need even bigger warships? I look forward to hear your answers. I think it will be fun to watch big industrial org's signing up privateers to go to hell haha. It will definitely happen because people are greedy and want all the uber rare minerals, cargo, and gas. But at what cost?
