We have an open arms policy to new players and players who may be new to orgs, clans, guilds etc. All that we ask is that you follow the rules and listen to those who have prior experience Professions Here at Ripley-Weaver Corp there is a trade to fit your play style Mining - The Mining division of RW is part of the commercial foundation of the org. Members of this division will take part in mining operations utilizing prospectors, Orion drilling platforms and Starfarer fuel harvesters to strip the raw materials needed for trade and manufacturing. Joining as part of this division will put you on the front line of RW's money making machine and will see you cooperate closely with the Trade & Transport division as well as the Exploration division to effectively locate, extract and transport all the valuable resources of the verse. Trade & Transport - We know full well that logistics is the most important part of any organisation. The Trade and Transportation division provide the much needed logistical and customer facing support that RW needs in order to make money. Joining as part of this division involves working out the most economical route to sell your cargo and enjoying the journey as you traverse the galaxy along hauling runs, and visiting interesting places along the way. Research & Development - The R&D division of RW is where the bleeding edge of technological, agricultural and medicinal discoveries will be meticulously uncovered. Scientists involved in this division will utilize Misc Endevour vessels and their various labs to study and experiment the countless flora and fauna of the verse and attempt to create new products that can be sold on the open market. Exploration - The Exploration division of RW is the home for the most adventurous members of the org. They are tasked with seeking out the unknown ranging from jump points and asteroid fields to space anomalies and abandoned ruins on desolate planets. Members joining this division will be asked to document all they find and transmit that information back to the org so that it may be made use of, recieving healthy remuneration in the process. Fleet Security - RW takes protecting its members seriously while they are out there in the verse. Defending our commercial interests is naturally a high priority with the abundance of threats that exist to punch holes in our ships. The defensive fleets role is to protect all organization concerns from attack. Because of its importance, Fleet Security comes with a high requirement for commitment and training from its pilots. Joining this division will mean you are in the firing line frequently but with the training you will receive and the use of our capital vessels, you will stand the best chance of prevailing. Marine Corp - We know full well that it's not always possible to fend off the marauding ships before they have a chance to board your vessel, We know that ships can't always be on station to protect that remote outpost on a distant moon. RW understands that there is a need for a specialist group of players who are adept at the art of foot mobile combat. Who are there when the airlock is breached and the pirates storm the bridge. RW's Marines will provide that security and will ensure the survivability of our vessels and members when they are at their most vulnerable. We at RW understand that the best way to success in the verse will be through close cooperation between various different professions and specializations. A well rounded organisation will stand a better chance at success than one that is divided.
