Join an org! And don't join one of the massive ones that take everyone. Join something niche, something small, somewhere everyone knows each other and everyone helps each other out. Take it from me, my org maintains 50-60 members, fielding 10-20 every weekend, where everyone can feel good about the parts they played in, and what value they brought to the team. There are small orgs searching for YOU! People who don't really know what a multicrew experience looks like, but still want to engineer, run logistics, play onboard security and boarding teams alike. With the largest orgs it can be hard to find people to connect with, because there are different people at every other event. I know, because I was part of one of them before forming my own. We run antipiracy, commerce, and milsim-lite legal security operations. We hang out like the good ol boys when not in combat. If that sounds like you, let me know. Case in point, don't worry about multicrew! Take the initiative now, learn what you need to learn, and you'll have a great time. This game is so much better with friends and teammates than it is alone - the game is great, but the substance goes away quickly, which is why group events with their own creative gameplay make this game a true MMO. Take GTA for example, the game only has so much content. After that, you had milsims, race teams, even airshow demo teams. The greatness of Star Citizen is not in a solo experience - it's as part of a team. We already have plans for a fully crewed Polaris battle group come 4.0. But... ...We have 4 more of them come through. See what multicrew is supposed to be!
