Every division will be led by a senior officer and structured much in the same way as a company in real life. Proof of Competence We use service ribbons as proof of competence, rank and achievements. Apart from meritorious conduct, each ribbon has its own set of criteria to fulfil. By displaying desirable qualities, members set examples for others and earn higher positions within the company, as well as in-game rewards. Fail, Learn, Grow It's not realistic to expect that every player who exists in the universe knows everything and never fails a task. Together we fail, learn and grow. So even if you are a new or inexperienced player you are welcome to join, learn and grow with us, as we are happy to teach you whatever skills you need to fulfil the role in your team. Drama-Free Environment Our goal is not to inflate our organization; instead, we care about the quality of our members. Before anyone is allowed into SC-VoS, we make sure they are not already part of another organization and we take the time to interview them. We prefer to turn people down instead of inviting someone that might not be a good fit for us and us not for them. The majority of our applicants fail to meet our requirements. The most common reasons include a lone-wolf mentality which makes people unfit to work in teams, as well as the unwillingness to dedicate themselves exclusively to a serious organization. Other reasons include an overall casual attitude towards what we are trying to achieve. True Neutrals Mushrooms grow best in harmonious environments, thus we consider ourselves true neutrals. We do not do pirating and we do not join alliances. We will fight the good fight, and finish it ferociously, but once it is over, do not be surprised to see us offer old opponents coffee and cake.
