An unassuming man wearing a black suit enters view. Pausing for a moment he straightens his dark green tie and steps towards a large wooden podium. Placing his hands on the fine mahogany grain, feeling the cool surface, he grasps the edges firmly as he begins to speak. "Greetings, Stanton. Standing behind this podium it is good to see many of you. It has been ten years, or very near that now, since we first embarked on this endeavor together. Watching this community develop, to grow... For enclaves to form, alliances to be born, and to shatter... Ten years, a decade, spent learning about the people in our community. Their hopes, their dreams for the future... Ten years our project has spent advancing its agenda, and those of our clientele. Yet today, we are not here to speak to the people of Stanton about the number ten. We have come before this esteemed gathering today to speak of another number. The number One Hundred and Sixty, to be precise. To date, our organization has been directed towards, and shielded against: Conflict after conflict, after conflict. We have waged war on behalf of Mining Concerns, On behalf of burgeoning nation states, On behalf of pirates, and the disenfranchised. We have waged war, for, or against, virtually every major power bloc that exists. To date, we have, on behalf of our clientele, eliminated One Hundred and Sixty Organizations from the Stanton system. A minor note in the grander scheme to be sure. Yet an important one. Organizations, what are they? Are they supranational entities, rivaling Mega-corporations of our Era? Are they social initiatives, an organic outgrowth of the will of our Empire? Or perhaps they are islands of influence, not unlike those zealously tended by our esteemed representatives in the UEE Senate. Ultimately, Organizations whatever your view on the purpose, are fleeting. Their existence temporary. While one burns, another is built. People come and go, and on and on the cycle continues. You will notice amongst you, empty seats, representatives that are not amongst us this day. Quite a number of them in fact. Among these vacant seats, One Hundred and Sixty Organizations. One hundred and Sixty organizations, whatever their goals, their motivations, their ambitions. Are no longer here, and at our hand. Our clientele however, often have more temporal interests, thus, their competitors, their rivals, and of course, their enemies, are no longer amongst us. We make no judgements for who you choose as your enemies, nor is it our business to try. We are but humble service providers, and for those of you looking to wage war, our doors are open. These are dangerous times, where violence and war touch every corner of the Empire. But you are not alone, and our offices stand ready to assist you in your cause. We are both Shield, and Sword, and we do oh so enjoy working for you Stanton. Here is to another ten years, and to all the wars to come!"
