We're hosting an 8-org FPS tournament that should be easy to set up and quick to play. To give people enough time to get ready, we'll host this in alpha 3.18. If your org would like to take part, reach out via PM, once you've got confirmed interest from your teams, and we'll get you added to the pool. Rude Awakening Knockout Tournament: FPS Combat Takes place on a Carrack Defenders start in crew beds, underwear only. Undersuit, helmet and handgun on floor next to each bed. More armor, weapons and ammo in the armory. Exception is the captain, who also has armor and weapons on floor in their quarters. Event starts with a “wake up call.” Better get ready to defend the ship. Someone is trying to board. Secure the ship by killing the boarders or forcing them to surrender. OpFor start in Airlock - There will be a time delay for "hacking,” before you will be able to proceed through the ship. We are currently working out how long this will be, but expect it to be in the realms of 2 minutes. Secure the ship by killing the crew or forcing them to surrender. No weapon or strategy restrictions for any team. Bring your own gear. You can only bring and use the weapons, ammunition and gear that fit on your suit of armor. Dead/downed people don't talk. 8 teams from different orgs. 6 people per team. Doesn’t have to be the same people each round. Each team gets a chance to defend and attack in each round. Kills count for 2 points. Captures count for 3. Tie-breakers will take place if each round ends in a draw.
