The world seems to have caught up with Star Citizen. Imagine your Aves armor pledge was in form of a digital trading card, that you could buy, sell and trade online, anywhere, with anyone for any price. The Aves armor trading card can then be "slotted" into any game that features heavy armor and has a partnership with CIG, like Shroud of the Avatar on the item exclusives. Imagine using your Aves armor in Star Citizen one moment, then logging on to Conan Exiles, and wearing the Hyborian rendition of Avian heavy armor on there. Imagine using the Day-One Edition Atlantean Sword from Conan Exiles in Star Citizen, as an assault rifle called "The Atlantean" - A skinned Behring AR with glowing Atlantean runes along it's sides. Imagine Microsoft, Funcom, CIG, EA, Ubisoft and various indies sharing the 10% commission on every secondary sale of those trading cards, and having them be useable on all their games. Crazy world. I'm neither for, or against this. I just know it's becoming a thing now and there are a lot of games in the pipeline featuring NFT's. Should Star Citizen be apart of this? Well. It already is, even before NFT's were a thing. Having a pledge be in the hangar module and in the PU interchangeably, and be meltable and transferable is an example of an NFT use-case.
