There's a certain YouTuber who makes videos about real-world fighter planes and their developments and stuff of this kind. At least twice now I've seen them using Star Citizen ships as their thumbnail image (Vanguard, Redeemer). While it was kinda funny, I thought about the current world and copyright and all kinds of things like that, and... can you do that? As in, are the screenshots the property of the one who took the screenshot enough that you can use them in commercial videos (YouTube monetization)? Nowhere in the video are there any mentions of Star Citizen or CIG, nor is the ship in question seen in the actual video. It's just the thumbnail to lure in people 'cause they look cool.
