I'm not sure what is CIG's take on this. I guess they don't really care. But there are quite some browser extentions that actually seem to do a lot with your information Sadly some are extremly useful. But I started to doubt how safe they actually are, am I just paranoid or is there a reason to be warry of these plug-in. NOW I WANT TO BE CLEAR: I'm NOT directily saying the makers of the plug ins are bad people that want to hack my stuff. (I don't know them but i assume there intentions are good) However, I'm curious what can happen if their tool gets hacked for example. Somehow information about my account SEEMS to be in their system. I'm talking about plug-ins like Star Citizen CCU Game It keeps track of all the prices, and profit, and such. So actually the plugin knows exactly what you paid for a ship etc. Star Citizen Hangar XPLORer I LOVE this app because it changes the pictures of the ships you CCU'ed into. And has MUCH more useful filtering options. However because this plugin is a layer over your account, is this still good to use? Hangar Link Connect This plugin i use for the Starlink Fleetviewer, also this plug-in seems to get information from your account to put it in fleetviewer. I disabled all the plug in for now, since the money i invested in SC got bigger and bigger i started to think twice about the plug ins. But they do make my life more easy. And sadly I see CIG not change their website or the personal Hangar anytime soon. Your guys thoughts? Do you use plug ins? Do you think they are safe in general to use?
