Everyday it's a different wave of posts stuffed with phrases like "most of the community", "most of the playerbase", "everyone believes". NO, I do not believe. NO, I do not agree. And NO, I am literally not experiencing what you claim everyone else is. The only people who know which activities the majority of players are not/interested in, what they don't/believe, or what they're not/spending on are CIG. Anyone else claiming to know the Real TruthTM of what any majority within the playerbase believes is just trying to soothe their own anxieties (probably a result of being stuck in a self-inflicted spiral of doomscrolling + negativity bias). You won't even find CIG employees on record proclaiming, confirming or denying what most players are doing/believing because it's both irrational and unhelpful as community discourse. Unless you work at CIG you're not meant to know "EVERYTHING". That's not an aberration in need of fixing. If you're passionately vocal then stick to sharing how you feel about a design change, how it plays, how it paces, how it changes QoL, how it adds or detracts from gameplay. Full stop! But stop claiming authority on knowing what's internally driving or effecting those changes because you categorically DO NOT. Staying in your designated lane is tactically and precisely how you'll have the greatest effect on the devs decision-making. If you're not focused on that, then you're just making n.o.i.s.e.
