It's the warm season here... and that means hornets are very active. I went outside to take a few tokes and the hornets I had removed last week have relocated to under the gutter JUST ABOVE THE FRIGGING DOOR! I got buzzed by one as I came outside and so went to get the flyswatter and do battle with the foul beasts. Managed to kill four between being swiped at by stingers and then I scraped the nest down and gave it a satisfying stomp. Still two left there buzzing me when I come out. I tried and failed to swat one of them and it dove at my head twice as I went back through the door. Luckily it flew back outside but damn. Going out for round two and will hopefully eradicate them and be able to enjoy my balcony soon. I used to spray them with poison but I don't want to support that sort of thing unless I really, REALLY can't find a way around physically crushing their tiny heads.
