I hesitated to write this but since I melted all of my ships and put in a request to have my account removed and it i has been 24 hours and they have not removed it then I thought I should share my thoughts. A couple days ago a poster (shall not be name) said that there will never be crafting in the game and that there was never a promise to do so by CIG. I told him that the hole reason I got into the game was because of the possibility to do crafting and to sell good to other players. He went on to tell me because I created an account back in 2014 that I must have gotten into this game because of something else. I told him to not tell me how I feel about this game and he said that he wasn't. I have not purchased any ships until this year for one reason and that is because I was waiting for the possibility of scrapping and crafting. When I saw this I got a Cutlass Black Starter pack and just tried some simple cargo runs to learn how to play. Every thing was going ok until I lost both of my Engine Pods to an NPC pad ramming me while I was getting a cargo load. I did a repair at the pad and my engines pods came back missing the engines. I could fly but I could no longer accelerate. Crashing and reclaiming the ship did not fix the problem. So I thought since I was going to do scrapping anyways I just upgrade my Cutlass Black starter to a Vulture and get another Cutlass black ship because I liked it. I also got a couple other ships along with a Mule and off I went scrapping which was the first step I thought to crafting. The issues I ran into were: - You can't sell ships components you got from Scrapping to other players. There is no trade module for your inventory. - You can not move components from your cargo hold to your inventory unless you equip it and use load out manager. - They nerfed the ship component sales at the stores. - They nerfed the cargo you can get off of scrap runs. - And now they are saying the crafting of Multi Tools is a place holder and they might take crafting away. - Also note my Cutlass Black a couple days ago lost a pod and I did not repair but crashed and reclaimed and it came back missing the engine. Did an exchange to get it back but comeon. That is the last straw. I am out will come back someday when this stuff is implemented. This post will probably get deleted which is fine just venting.
