This thread will NOT be about how game development works and how much time it takes etc etc there are hundreds of those threads out there. Honestly I don't care. This thread is not about how hard the Team should be or is working on this Dream. This thread is about backing a Dream, and I fully support that Dream, however. Just be Honest This late in the year, 3.0 won't be dropping to us blue-collar backers, there's not enough time, that is just my opinion. Sure, I have an evocati friend or two that echo the same fracking words "just be patient it's worth it!" I'm sure it is, I'm sure it will be. CIG, just stop saying more polish and soon. Please just be honest with the rest of us, that's all I ask. If 3.0 won't drop until First Quarter 2018 just say it, if you all really have no idea, just say it. I'm done playing into the Hype, and I did fall hard for it for a long time. I'm Done Playing Streamers get on, blow up new players that are just trying to get a feel for their new toy, and the Streamers think they are so talented and cool. PFFFT, whatever. I no longer Sub so SC Streamers. Let's have a Give Away so you will watch me do stupid things! Other players just play bumper cars with their ships and blow people up on the deck, teehee that was fun! Let's respawn and do it again. PFFFT, whatever. What happened to Streamers showing off interiors and showing how cool that SC could be? I do hope that this pattern does not populate in 3.0 certainly I am not the only backer that feels this way. I get it, Arena Commander and Star Marine are there for us to do something and I like that. I feel that everyine is bored and now that has become a breeding ground for bad habits. I'm Done Backing Until After 3.0 So here's the thing, I'm not fortunate enough to be Concierge, I'm glad that some of you can be and that's pretty cool. I started backing in 2013, I just bought my wife a starter package a few months ago when teasings of 3.0 were "getting closer." So she made a good point, she won't even play the game until 3.0 comes out since she doesn't want to relearn all the systems and controls. That made me sit back and re-evaluate. I planned on buying starting packages for my family and close friends for Christmas 2017, I wont' say how many that is but my point is yes I could buy a bigger ship or package but I would rather share that with folks that would play. NOPE, not going to happen. I am excited for SC to get past 3.0 and get past Beta and go live in what COULD be a couple of years yet. So Think About This Yes there's a ship sale soon. I'm not buying any and that's my choice, readers can do as they wish. Should have been honest with me, I'm being honest with CIG. I still believe in the Dream, I still support it, I'm just not throwing more money at it right now. Please, just blanket email the Community when 3.0 releases More than likely I, and others as well, will throw more money into support. For one I would like a ground vehicle after 3.0 drops and would purchase one.
