Did you know that shows like Star Trek (and nearly all other Scifi) borrow their main story telling elements from old movies about Nuclear Submarines? A submarine is in many ways the closest thing we have to scifi spaceships, so I thought it might be prudent to share this video from Smarter Every Day's YouTube channel where Destin was invited onto a Nuclear Submarine to document how they actually operate for weeks at a time without resurfacing. It's super incredible to see what daily life is like and seeing the footage here inspired me to think about spaceships in a more realistic way. I hope this inspires you and the devs of Star Citizen to think about how the game could be improved inspired by real life problem solving that most people never even consider. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d6SEQQbwtU&list=PLjHf9jaFs8XWoGULb2HQRvhzBclS1yimW
