I know it isn't Star Citizen related but I know that a lot of us (myself included) are aviation fans whether we work in the industry as pilots, mechanics, or airport workers to those that plane spot on a regular basis. Aircraft and Aviation have been in my blood since I was 6 years old and that inspired my Star Citizen hangar and one of the reasons I picked up this project and put some of my money towards it. The ships in SC reminds me a lot of real world aircraft mainly because a lot of them are inspired off them. The Aegis Eclipse is the B-2A Spirit Bomber, the Hercules is the C-5/17, the Redeemer is the AC-130 Gunship and so on and so forth. The Antonov AN-225 is the largest aircraft in the world and there is only one of them in existence until today. Sadly when Russian forces attacked Hostomel Airfield today, the AN-225 Mriya did not survive the bombing and was destroyed. It's sad because I actually got to see this beast of an aircraft in person a few years back when it flew in to the U.S from Kyiv, Ukraine. Rest in peace Mriya, you earned it. We will rebuild the plane. We will fulfill our dream of a strong, free, and democratic Ukraine.
