With the ship controversies and money being spent on Star Citizen, I sat back and decided to see what I spent per month on unrecoverable entertainment. I do not drink or smoke or do drugs so no money lost there, but I do consider Movies, Tv/streaming services/sports, internet etc as unrecoverable cash in terms of entertainment usage. I checked my last three months bills and went with a conservative 250 a month times twelve months and went from 2014 to 2022. That came to 24,000 dollars over that time frame give or take. I know I have spent more. This is also very small compared to some, my brother dwarfs my entertainment spending as he has a family. I asked what his entertainment bills were for a monthThis is cash that is gone, wasted, nothing to show for it. I would like to think I have not wasted my cash on CIG. While I support them, I also expect a reasonable product in a reasonable time frame. Not giving CIG a pass in any way by saying my cash to them is considered gone by any means, and I am on a timer, so the longer they take to release, the more my brother inherits lol. I can say with what I spent on SC, I have not gotten my monies worth...yet. Here is hoping Bill gates suddenly gets interested in Star Citizen.
