Mycroft is a Open Source voice AI system being developed. There is a first gen Google mini/Alexa device. but the software can be put on anything from an android pone to a raspberry pie to a Linux PC. Nobody owns it so anyone can develop anything for it. make their own hardware devises with it. For those that are nerdy enough to care, this is huge and EXACTLY what the world needs, a viable open source Voice AI system compatible to Mini/Alexa.
