Two truly enthusiastic souls, having traveled all the way just to watch the Perseverance launch with their own eyes and to feel the crackling vibration of the rocket. It's a unique mood. This mood of happiness and excitement to a somber backdrop of our new reality. To be there to pay tribute to history, an acknowledgement of the importance and ramifications of this launch, despite the lack of people there to cheer. It's like a football match without the crowd. He almost feels like a relic of the past, during the early days of the space race. I find this video to be a poetic capture of our times. Anyway, this post doesn't really have much to do with Star Citizen other than semantics, so make what you will of it. I just thought it was worth mentioning.
