Hello Citizens, thanks for those who decided to open this thread and take a moment of their precious time because we need a lot more people to be aware on a situation that has been going on for sometime that not enough have been taking notice of. There are people taking about net-neutrality and what this could mean for the free internet we always had. The FCC of the US is going to repeal net-neutrality on December 14th and we can still make a difference. I am bringing this up to the Star Citizen community and our great developers of Star Citizen to raise awareness across the verse as much as possible because if we want to enjoy and tune in to watch the star citizen team release videos and stream with us, to create an awesome game, even go around the internet freely without being controlled over what we see and do and not just waste our money to those ISPs, who are just plain trying to rob those who use the internet for their companies, jobs, education and entertainment. Most importantly we would all be forced to pay extended bills that can greatly effect our taxes and this could even screw over the development of Star Citizen, because if we let this law to repeal net-neutrality pass, videos, websites, social websites, anything on the internet, can be blocked, which will effect our mentality and how we view everything. Also money would be the only definition of who we are and rights would no longer exist that people could be corrupted as a matter of fact that because these ISPs are charging and controlling you over what you do on the internet, you have no freedom like you do now, to connect with others and speak freely. Also think about the consequences of what would happen to the development of Star Citizen and how Cloud Imperium Games would then struggle to connect with us to develop and deliver an awesome game where you can travel around the verse and do whatever you want, and further expand the game that if we do not take action, the final game and complete Star Citizen that we want might not come to be and no longer be a dream come true and be cancelled all because of simple law that just got passed, taking away our freedom, destroying our evolution as a species, ruining the lives of those people who run small companies, or are just solo self-employed workers who use the internet as a source of income. Worst thing as well is that the Chairman of the FCC, Ajit Pai, already made up his mind, he only wants to repeal net-neutrality so he can just shame everyone else and just destroy what defines us as people just so Ajit Pai and other ISPs can fill their pockets while they just laugh at everyone else because he and other companies with a huge monopoly are trying to control us. Further more the FCC is trying to trick us into thinking that the bill 'restoring internet freedom' is restoring internet freedom, which is not. This vile bill is intending to repeal net neutrality, so whatever these .gov sites are saying, don't trust them as they are trying to deceive us with this bill the FCC imposed. They just want to rule us and mind control us so we can give them money under the dictatorship they are trying to impose over us. There are many ways to support and keep net-neutrality now and forever. See you all around the Verse.
