Did my second-ever livestream (https://www.twitch.tv/dowlphin), one hour long, got some game hitches and assumed it's the game spiking, which may very well be true, but basically everything was fucked up. I was watching the chat and didn't have screen space to watch the stream inspector, too. All looked fine in that one at first. At 19 minutes I tabbed out for a moment, just opened the task manager to observe core load and on tabbing back in, unknown to me because totally unexpected, I had no mic audio anymore for the rest of the stream. Wasn't even recording anymore! But the audio input was active. OBS Studio just decided to drop the audio encoding during high CPU load or something, for the rest of the stream. And afterwards I checked the stream inspector and that confirmed the tons of dropouts. And the stream latency had also grown from 10 to 67 seconds. Didn't even seem to have been about any settings. Just random crapout. I'm doing more testing with identical settings and it's fine. This shit is hard enough as it is, but without watchers pointing out that no sound is received, realistically you can't tell. So now the recording for Youtube playback is a complete dud, too.
