Charlie Gard, a 10-month-old baby, will soon be taken off life support by Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Charlie’s parents, Connie and Chris, just lost their final appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. This was the last court that could have saved Charlie and stayed his execution Doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital have given Charlie’s parents a few days at most to say goodbye to him before they remove his life support. Please sign this petition! Against the requests of his parents, the doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital have decided that Charlie would be better off dead. His parents independently raised 1.4 million pounds to take him the United States, where he could receive an experimental treatment for his condition. Charlie’s parents are not asking for money from the government or for free services from the hospital, they are merely seeking the opportunity to transport him with their own funds! It is absolutely ludicrous that the hospital thinks they can play God in determining whether Charlie’s life is worth living.
