I'm not hoping for any kinds of planning or work to be done on it as the timelines involved render such efforts meaningless right now, but would CIG be averse to the idea of designing a user experience for such interfaces, or would it be a matter of using third party tools to intercept more standard inputs (like getting a head tracker working with a game that doesn't do TrackIR, or using VorpX with a HMD)? I also ask this question of other forumites, what's your general thoughts on brain-computer interfaces, both invasive such as implants and non-invasive like the brain caps and muscle sensors we've already seen used in a limited fashion for quadriplegics and other severely disabled individuals? From my perspective, I think the benefits vastly outweigh the risks, considering there are already techniques out there to "hack" the brain using psychological handles, frequently used by businesses and marketing today. Two commonly known examples being the "$9.99 is cheaper than $10" psychological pricing method, as well as Skinner box mechanics utilised by e.g. the FIFA games and their card packs (the latter being actively exploitative to the point of legal censure in countries like Belgium and the UK). These aren't anywhere near the most sinister either, as much as EA's behaviour is malignant.
