THIS POST IS NOT READY AND MAY CONTAIN INACCURATE SPOILERS. If you're a fan of GOT come back in a day or two. Grammar needs a lot of correction. SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan and I feel like making more posts on the Spectrum but I often make long winded posts and ramblings. I starting learning Banu and its been exhausting. So Im just gonna start with a really selfish post. About my crazy Game of Thones idea. Once I post this and its something I actually enjoy doing I can make some more posts in the Banu language section. But anyway. I do think there could be a later discussion about the complexity of entertainment. This thoery I've been putting forward gets a lot mixed reactions. Then you have Star Citizen that its trying to do a lot of things and a lot of new things. So maybe I can someone relate Game of Thrones to Star Citizen's story telling. Think about it this way. I'm about to tell a whole story almost. What if they have to have stories on text in the game. Like a Banu book? Someones going to have to write incredible amount of stuff in Banu. And how many people are going to read it? How much alien languages and text should be in the game? Well I guess I'll go straight in. Bran gets killed in the Cave by the Three Eyed Raven. The Three Eyed Raven possess' Bran's body to invade the Stark Family. The Raven's plan is find out Jon's real name and use it as a weapon to destroy the Targaryean dynasty for calling them selves Kings of Westeros. The Raven is also killing everyone else who was king or tries to be king. The Three Eyed Raven is created by the the Children of the Forest after they failed to control the Night King. The Night King and the Three Eyed Raven reach a stand still and the Night King raises a wall of Ice that the humans upkeep. For eight thousand years the Three Eyed Raven plans to wipe out all the enemies of the Children of the Forest. The Night King isn't a good character though. He'll do anything to stop the Raven's plan. Also I type everything out fresh for good mental practice. It keeps me questioning my own ideas. There is a lot of characters who just don't matter in the grand scheme of thing and sub plots that pander out and go no where. So I'm going to try to keep it to just the Stark Family and Daenaerys, as well as a few other character here and there. I think I'll end up only talking mostly about season 8 characters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eight thousand years ago before the birth of King Aerys II Targaryean there was a Great War. Men came from the East and invaded Westeros. Westeros was covered with magical trees called Weirwood Trees, trees that grew alive with magic. Magical spirits lived in the forests with the Weirwood Trees. These spirits were dryads called "the Children of the Forest." The Children of the Forest are exactly that, children. They don't know how to fight wars, and lack some life lessons and knowledge. They would be to manipulate but have great magical powers. The Dryads used magic to controls the animals of the forests and waged war back against the invading men. The invading men gaves them selves many monikers before and after they conquered Westeros, The First Men, King of the Andals, etc... The men were numerous and burned many of the southern forests and killed many Weirwood Trees. The Dryads grew desperate and use their magic to control humans. The Dryad's first victim was a man and they chained him to a Weirwood Tree. They pressed Dragon Glass into the mans chest but the spell they cast was not the spell they wanted. The Dragon Glass is a magical conduit, a focus element. The audience has been given enough information to figure out what happens next. I'm not going to describe every scene in the show, but there is one scene where we see the Weirwood Tree broken in half. The Weirwood Tree sacrificed its life to cast a spell. They imbued the Dragon Glass with nature magic. What goes wrong is that they turn that Dragon Glass into a focus element. All the power goes into the Shard. Then the Shard goes into the captured man. There's nothing actually controlling the magic or man. If you've seen the Marvel movies they just shoved the Tesseract into some random guys chest. They didn't cast a Mind Control Spell, they just imbued him with magic powers, they forgot to cast the part of the spell where he would be a slave to the Dryads. The Dryads are Children of the Forest. They may be very old but they are very young. It's an interesting concept. The dryads aren't used to using this magic and they messed it all up. With this spell they create the Night King. The Night King goes to any length to kill the Dryads and the Raven. It will not hesitate to kill humans but it doesn't need to and it will let them pass. In response to the creation of the Night King the dryads do what they do, they try to cast the spell again. This is where "Magic is Abstract" comes into play. This is my idea on how and why the Raven was created. The Dryads capture another man but instead of chaining to a Weirwood Tree they place him into a Weirwood Tree. The Dryads dig a cave beneath one of the final trees and they place the new captured man into its roots. The Weirwood Trees grows its roots around and into the man forcing the man's spirit out letting the Weirwood Tree in. We may assume this happens because the cave where Bran meets the Raven has humans remains in it! These human skeletons are previous hosts that had been ensnared in the roots of the Weirwood Tree. The Weirwood Tree has died but the Spirit of the Tree lives in on the host body inside the roots. The Night King for some reason can't find the Raven, probably concealed by magic, but the Night King then raises a giant wall of Ice to keep the Children of their Forest and their new abomination in the North. The Night King separates the majority of Man Kind in Westeros from ever being taken by the Dryads and their mind controlling magic. The Night King's goal is not to safe humanity but just to kill the Dryads and the creation they made. The Night King was created to kill human's but turns on it's creator like Frakenstein's monster gone out of control. The Raven is created to kill the Night King and the Humans. For 8000 years the Night King and the Raven are plotting against each other. But the Raven is also plotting against Westeros. The Night King's war with the Children of the Forest and the Three Eyed Raven comes to a stand still. For the next 8000 years they build plans to destroy each other. The Night King builds his own army, while the Raven learns to manipulate other armies into fighting and dying for him. The Night King does rather little during this time. The Raven lures people North, having to switch host bodies when the human shell grows to old. One of the humans the Raven lures North is the Targaryean Spy Master thousand eyes. By possessing his body the Raven learns endless ways to manipulate men. The Raven takes the moniker The Three Eyed Raven from the Targaryean. Another purpose of using the Raven moniker is that it confuses the audience. It's a subtle suggestion that the Raven only wargs into Ravens. The audience sees other animals get warged into like the Wilding who wargs into an Eagle. But when you hear the name "Raven" so many times your less likely to think that the Raven would warg into a Boar. It's subtle conditioning that the writers use to confuse the audience. The last vital detail is the Raven can send visions to people. The Raven sends visions to King Aerys II which drives him mad. This also sabotages his children's reputation, Denaery's reputation before anyone meets here. This will be used against Denaery's in her final battle. More subterfuge happens when Jamie Lannister stabs The Mad King Aerys in the back. Now there will be even more Hatred between the Targaryeans and the Lannisters. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
