The forum will be flooded with comparisons between these games and players wishing for stuff. That is normal. Let it happen. Spectrum does not need a separate forum section. Starfield is a very relevant game for SC because of how many things are similar. There are some things Starfield does better than SC, so there will be comparisons made. I think the reason some hardcore SC fans want to suppress that discussion is because they are overprotective of SC. However the quality of SC won't improve by being overprotective of flaws. It improves by games that are its competition showing how something can be done better. (I also predict a serious change in UI design for SC in the coming months. Away from the obsessive angled UIs and hardcore scifi fonts, more towards white and gray, as the Starfield trailer shows). Starfield might have a very positive effect on SC. SC turned into a sponge to soak up popular scifi series influences and convert them into money. It has almost no more artistic independence. Luckily, the current hot thing is Starfield, which means SC will be soon influenced with more realistic ship and suit designs.
