I have been watching reruns of Lost in Space and came across Ep29 of Series 1, "Follow The Leader", which has scenes and plot very reminiscent of the Star Wars saga. I am convinced this must have been the inspiration for George Lucas, whether conscious or unconscious. If you get a chance to watch it you will see what I mean. I never got to see Lost in Space until now as I was not even one year old when it first aired and was in a land far far away but when Star Wars came out I was ready and like everyone was a big fan of the adventures of Princess Leia and those other guys :wink: Just was so amazed to see the antecedant trope in US TV scifi culture, I thought I should tell someone since Star Citizen takes so much inspiration from Star Wars. http://lostinspace.wikia.com/wiki/Follow_the_Leader
