I can't really go into specifics because I can't get a good friend fired. But word around the campfire so to speak is a certain company is utilizing AI to create a game that could be like star citizen, and maybe even like the movie ready player one. Massive resources are going into this and it's happening extremely fast. For those of you who don't know you can ask AI to create a program, to debug, etc and it does it damn near instantly, and it works. I'm not talking about some schmoe in his apartment running a high end gaming PC and using chatgpt, I'm talking about multi million dollar super computers running this kind of stuff and making it happen. Is CIG utilizing AI? I would assume they're not due to how long this project has been in development, but at the same time, AI doing this kind of thing is relatively new. I love the vision of this project, but if they're not utilizing AI properly they better start, and not tomorrow, but yesterday, otherwise relatively soon this game is going to be completely irrelevant.
