At the pace SpaceX is building Starship, I would bet a Starship actually lands on Mars, before a Star Citizen does in game. I’m just noting, 20 years of development and they are stacking Starship with mechazilla, reading it for its first orbital launch. Starship development is going at breakneck speed. At this pace, people might be flying in starships before Squadron 42 is even released. Who would have thunk building real spaceships would out pace building spaceship games…. Just an observation. As Jared likes to point out, this is game ‘development‘ yes it is…. but look at the ’Starship’ development that happening and the progress they are making. It’s amazing, difficult, hugely risky…. iterative, innovative…. And orders of magnitude harder. Any takers on my bet? That Starship lands on mars before a player in star citizen does. Who wants to give odds?
