Dear CIG, I am trying to determine, how important it is to outfit my ship with guns which fire bullets/lasers at the same speed (ie metres per second (m/s), not rounds per minute (rpm)). Even if I have 2 different fixed guns firing bullets/lasers at 2 different speeds (ie metres per second (m/s), not rounds per minute (rpm)), I will get only 1 targeting PIP (Predicted Impact Point), from what I understand. This means, that if the 2 different fixed guns are firing bullets/lasers at 2 different speeds, only 1 of the guns will be hitting the PIP – is this correct please? If yes, then which of the 2 guns will be hitting the PIP? If no, then does it mean that both guns hit the PIP? Or what? Someone claims that in patch 3.13, the 2 different guns fire at the slower of the 2 speeds – is this true for patch 3.15? Or what? In 3.14, I played Arena Commander using a default Arrow, which had guns firing at different bullets/lasers at 2 different speeds (namely 700 m/s and 1400 m/s) but I still got only 1 targetting PIP. So my questions appear valid. Since combat is a very important aspect of Star Citizen, this appears to be an important point to be answered.
