I say "respectful challenge" because I am certain, that answering LTI questions, and getting ship insurance right in the verse, will be challenging. I fully understand the game is in pre-Alpha and so many things will change, and or, improve before the game goes live. For the record, I am a concierge backer, and fully support this project. To be completely honest, the LTI feature, and lack of clarity, almost feels like a new car salesman who wont fully answer my questions about an extended warranty scenario. I'm all in on the new car, but the scenario with the warranty is mildly irritating me. It doesn't need to be this way. The LTI question needs to be answered very clearly, right now.... Why right now and not later? Because I'm spending REAL money right now (and happy to do so... for now) The following I posted in another thread regarding LTI, "No matter what anyone's particular opinion is on LTI as it stands currently.... CIG needs to be 100% clear on every single facet on ship insurance and what it will mean when the game goes live...right now... PERIOD! Why? because they clearly use it as a selling tool for ships, while at the same time casually mentioning that LTI is not gonna be a big deal. We need some clarity on this issue. Why? Because I'm handing CIG REAL money (a lot actually) And I would like an answer on this topic. If it's not gonna be a big deal...then it should be easy to answer the LTI questions once and for all. Having said that, I have 99.9% confidence that CIG will not have a system where I could permanently lose my $400 real money ship in game. Because if that were to ever happen, CIG would be dead in the water from that point on, and Star Citizen would go down in flames. So, lets go ahead get me to the full 100% confidence level I should be at when spending real money. What do you say CIG?? Lets put this topic to rest. " I look forward to a legitimate reply from CIG in the near future. Sincerely, Jack Gordon
