Hello everyone, I would like to ask the developers for some clarification regarding three features that I believe are fundamental to the future of Star Citizen: the social systems, organizations, and the reputation system. These are features that have been discussed for years, yet in 2026 we still don't have a solid implementation of them in-game. In my opinion, these systems represent a huge portion of what makes an MMO sandbox work arguably 80% of the foundation that allows players to create their own stories, communities, goals, and content. Meanwhile, we continue to receive new events and temporary activities. While I appreciate the work that goes into them, many of these additions feel like content layered on top of a game that is still missing some of the core systems needed to support a true MMO experience in the long term. Personally, I believe many players would be even more excited to see meaningful progress on social features, organizations, and reputation than another non dynamic event added to fill the universe. Sometimes it feels as if the game is being built from the top down, while the foundations of a sandbox MMO are still not in place. If these systems were finally implemented, Star Citizen could begin to generate much of its own content through player interaction. Organizations would be able to create activities, recruit members, establish goals, build rivalries, and generate emergent gameplay without relying solely on developer-created events. Just as importantly, proper social and organizational tools would allow new players, or simply players looking for a group, to find communities and activities directly in-game instead of having to rely on Discord, Spectrum, and third party platforms, as has been the case for years. I will admit that this situation has become increasingly frustrating for me. Not because the game hasn't progressed, quite the opposite. Star Citizen has undeniably made significant progress over the years. My concern is that I struggle to see a clear vision of how all these pieces come together into the final MMO experience that was originally promised. So my question is simple: What is the current status of the social systems, organizations, and reputation mechanics? Are these features still considered core priorities for the project, and can we expect meaningful progress on them in the foreseeable future? Thank you for all the hard work being done. Despite my criticism, it comes from a genuine desire to see this project achieve its full potential, because I still believe Star Citizen can become something truly special if the MMO foundations are given the attention they deserve.
