The question would be simple: 7950X3D or 7800X3D? The 7800X3D is basically a 7950X3D without the 8 cores that do not have the L3 '3D' cache on them. For SC, I am aware the L3 Cache will give it a huge boost. Will the 8 extra cores of the 7950X3D make that much of a difference? Will CIG be using those 8 non-L3 buffed cores for background game stuff and it improves performance or will those 8 cores just end up like what all the reviews of the 7950X3D show: that they degrade performance?
