The Crusader Hercules is a nice ship. The C2 version is nice for hauling cargo, and I like how its quite maneuverable, and can transport a lot of cargo. It even make it to the Final 4 in this years ship showdown. The M2 version is more armored and useful for transporting troops and tanks. And the A2 is a nice gunship/bomber. One thing that needs balancing is the Hydrogen Fuel. The refueling costs are as high as a capital ship, and are way more than the Anvil Carrack or even the MISC Starfarer. You try to take your Hercules to and from Orison, and after trying to get in and out of Crusader atmosphere, you will get a steep refueling bill. When the Hercules came out, it had the same type of fuel tank as other large ships in its class, but it burned through hydrogen fuel way too quickly. You remedied it the wrong way by increasing the fuel tank size, and making the fuel scoops and scooping rate smaller than any other large ship. your having to spend over 10K to refuel 10% of the fuel tank, and yet it burns via that giant fuel tank at the same speed as any other ship. That makes running the Hercules way too expensive that if you don't haul much cargo, you will lose money instead of making a profit. Right now, it costs way more to run the Hercules than it does to run the Caterpillar, so even if you fill up the Hercules, you may not be making much more than you would in the Caterpillar because you would own many thousands of UEC for Hydrogen Fuel. The hydrogen fuel price is way higher than the Quantum fuel price. The Hercules needs to be rebalanced so that the Hydrogen fuel scoop rate, fuel drain rate, and refiling costs are more in line with ships like the Carrack, the Hammerhead, or even the Caterpillar. Any plans to do this?
