Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this As most roleplayers know, a lot of roleplaying communities live or die depending on the basic support and ease of functions that allow roleplay to happend smoothly in games. So what i am wondering about is wether any of theese functions were planned for the game. Toggle walk/run (Simply put, being able to autowalk while you type is almost a must as for people that does not want to use the ingame voicechat for RP as otherwise, one would have to stop every single time you wanted to type something, making "Walking and talking" hard to do. Edit for clarification. This is toggle walk as in "Push botton and character moves forward automatically" Not about toggeling if your character runs or walks. Custom emotes example /e writes a poorly constructed spectrum post. Then having it show up in the chatbox as "Taurir writes a poorly constructed spectum post" A nice thing to have for most roleplay, making it a lot easier to seperate actions & words in text based roleplay. Chatbox in 3rd person. Allowing typing & reading from 3rd person. important note: I am not asking for the game to be changed into a 3rd person gameplay system, but we have access to 3rd person. Why not let us type there aswell. Edit: This is not regarding things that would require the mobiglass/global chats. Simply for local proximity /say/yell chats. Anything that would require the mobiglass should be done from there and global chat should stay in first person as well. Simply only a request for /say /yell in 3rd person. Local/Yell chat. A specific chat channel like entering /say or /yell to transmit what you type within a certain erea. Forexample /say transmitting 20meters and /yell 50 or so. Edit: Also, please let us have have /say /yell without a helmet on. As text just based for local wording should not require a helmet hud. Edit: Why a /say /yell chat? Because when you are roleplaying it is nice to have a chat that transmits only in a local erea and not on a global scale. Kind of like the way voice chat works in the game, but with typing. It is also very preferable to have the option to be in a chat that is not swarmed by everyone's input on a global scale. like you would forxample see in most games /general /global chats. This lets you chat freely with people in a certain range of yourself. Could this be used as an exploit? Not really. Its text based on proximity. And unlike voice chat. Text does not go away. Interracting with doors/objects in 3rd person. This one is not for me but rather what i have seen from some other people get dizzy from the first person perspective. Personally i dont care as i love the first person perspective, but it would be nice to know wether they will be able to do basic moving around in 3rd person (Not accounting for shopping/shooting/driving etc here. This should all stay fps imo) Fly safe, crash hard.
