Concept art used to sell both the Anvil Carrack and the Banu Merchantman showed sleek and sharp lines for the different vessels. The old Carrack design was even shown to reasonably follow the Golden Ratio. Upon release, the Carrack went from somewhat insect-like, to a large pig. Fast forward to today, and it looks as if the BMM will also head down the route of becoming a gargantuan behemoth, compared to the original concept art. Gone are the sharp nose and spires, replaced with a bulbous and bloated bow. Why was the choice made to dramatically change the design of our sleek ships that we pledged real-world currency for? Why were they not maintained as sleek as they were originally designed? Yes, the topic is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but the questions remain a serious concern... when we pledge real-world currency for product A, we expect product A, not product B. Thanks!
