Hokay, so those of us who have tested 3.0 propably knows that there are CPU spikes and general bad FPS performance every now and then. This keeps me and propably others from testing the features ingame. Now, misunderstand me correctly, Im not whining about "reeeee whats taking so looooong fix diiiiiiis!". Im saying that it's frustrating to test the build, constantly get the same problem that really ruins the testingmood, and not get any info on what the problem could be. Sure, I see some other citizens speculating on what it may be, and maybe they're right, but it might as well be complete bs. And Im perfectly fine with an explanation like "the PTU servers doesnt have the capability to give good fps, but the Live servers do, so it will propably work when Live", or "Its the client that leaks RAM, we still havent located the problem yet" or maybe even "atm you need atleast 64 GB DDR4 RAM for the client to handle everything, were working on it". But it would be nice to hear this addressed from official sources. My point is, if I dont know where a problem lies, I cant tell if I can do anything about it, and if I cant do anything about it, its kinda hard to justify jumping back in to test. Sure, Im not the most avid contributor on the issue council, but when I enounter a bug that already has 100's of reports, it feels a bit pointless. Speaking of the issuce council, maybe CIG should try to highlight the reports that are about to expire a little bit better. Just because a bug isnt replicated a lot, doesnt mean its not there and might be the cause of bigger problems encountered later on. Fuck I write too much. Sorry folks.
