I would like to understand whether a GPU crash is always related to the GPU driver and/or the hardware or whether those things can be absolutely flawless and it is purely an issue with the game code that manages to make the GPU crash. Because recently I had maybe 3 of them. The last one happened a couple hours ago when I was approaching a moon outpost in an Aurora the moment I started firing the gatlings (not at spinup, but actual tracers visible). GPU crash message: [...derDll/XRenderD3D9/DriverD3D.cpp:3997 CD3D9Renderer::SyncWithGPU] (0x887A0005) DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED The GPU device instance has been suspended. Check gpu_error.log for more details, raise value of r_gpuMarkers and / or run with r_enable_full_gpu_sync = 2 to get to the source of the problem.
