"SCM boost button" may sound weird, but let me explain. My suggestion is a button that simply deactivates the speed limiter while holding it. Releasing it sets the limiter back to SCM. This would allow you while in SCM to do quick boosts over SCM and quickly go back to SCM with just a single button. I like the recent changes regarding combat speeds. Fights in or around SCM speed feel way better then jousting and drifting around at extreme speeds. But what I miss is the ability to suddenly give a quick speed boost when in SCM (for example to evade a missile) without using the speed limiter toggle. Toggling things in stress situations is horrible (for most people) and in general just inconvenient. Remember having to toggle CMs while a missle is about to blow up in you face? That was a nightmare! This "SCM boost button" would be a huge QoL! [EDIT] Please read the post before answering with "There is a toggle speed limiter button". I KNOW THAT! It's about NOT having to use a fiddly friggin TOGGLE! And I also know that there are people who are just fine with the toggling, but just because YOU are doesn't mean everyone is.
