Hear me out before you put me on blast. I don't want it to have pilot guns just to make it a soloable ship. I want it cause it makes sense to have on an exploration ship with a max crew of 6 people. It comes with an Away ship that seats 3 people, and a rover that seats 2 people. That 5 members of the crew gone when they are down on planet, now the pilot is left in orbit or sitting in atmo with no defenses even if the co pilot comes back with the away ship while the other 4 explore the ruins or whatever they are doing on the planet. The ship has 1 functional defense turret and the pilot if all 5 members of the crew are out and the ship comes under fire the only option is to flee as you have no way to defend as the pilot. The 600i which is a competitor has pilot guns, the corsair though smaller has 4 guns for the pilot. 4 size 4 guns at the pilots control or 2 size 5s. Its more of a deterrent to attacking the ship. But it makes sense to see something added to the carrack considering it is designed for deep space exploration and a small crew size.
