Testing high level mission content on PTU currently takes far too long because reputation progression is locked behind the same grind as Live. With recent patches requiring fresh account copies or reputation resets, testers often have to replay 50+ missions just to regain access to specific mission tiers. That creates a major problem: We are spending more time re-unlocking content than actually testing it. This especially affects: High reputation mission chains Balance testing between reputation tiers Mission stability at higher ranks Economy and payout validation Endgame mission accessibility Not everyone has the time to repeatedly grind reputation every PTU cycle just to reach the content that actually needs testing. This becomes even more problematic for Evocati and active PTU testers, where rapid iteration and broad mission coverage are essential. A possible solution would be a Evocati/PTU-only reputation multiplier. For example: Increased reputation gain exclusively on PTU/TECH-PREVIEW/Evocati environments Or temporary accelerated progression during focused mission testing phases This would not invalidate reputation testing itself. In fact, reputation progression could still be tested properly: Base progression values remain unchanged Reputation scaling behavior can still be validated Bugs within the reputation system would still surface Testers simply reach relevant content faster The current system unintentionally discourages testing of higher-tier missions because access itself becomes the timesink. The goal of PTU should be maximizing test coverage and feedback quality, not reproducing Live-level grind before testers can even access the systems that need validation. A PTU-specific reputation acceleration system would significantly improve: Mission coverage Tester efficiency High-tier content validation Feedback quantity and quality Evocati/PTU iteration speed Most importantly: More players would actually be able to test the content YOU want feedback on. PS: I dont want to start any drama here, and I know the developers are under a lot of pressure too. We players obviously want to help you, but its just really hard for us...
